The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) and the National Water Research Institute (NWRI) announced the tentative schedule for the next three videoconference meetings of the Direct Potable Reuse (DPR) Expert Panel. The dates are
- Wednesday, December 1, 2021
- Wednesday, January 26, 2022
- Monday, February 28, 2022
The first meeting of the DPR Expert Panel was held August 24-25, 2021.
Details are not yet available as to agendas, meeting times and information on how to join the meetings.

Background
AB 574, signed into law in October 2017, required that the SWRCB adopt uniform criteria for DPR by December 31, 2023. The bill required that before adopting the criteria, the SWRCB submit the criteria to an Expert Panel for review.
